Nate+Rach || NEWCASTLE PORTRAITS

Had the honour of hanging with these guys during a portrait session in Newcastle last weekend. We 1st met Nate+Rach in London which is where the friendship kicked off. When they left London to return to Australia they sure left a big hole. When we heard that the family was expanding and they wanted some photos taken I was stoked!  These 2 are some of the best people you could meet and our lives are only richer for having them a part of ours.

Rach, a fellow photog, had a sweet spot in mind and then there it was... the light! It was so delicious!

Nate+Rach, you guys are a massive blessing to us and everyone around you. Thanks for the good times and letting me tell a part of your story...

Logan+Krystee || NEW ZEALAND

Last week I was in NZ to photograph a wedding in Wellington which made for a perfect occasion to catch up with my sis and bro-inlaw who are expecting their 1st bub.  It's the 1st one on my side of the family, so everyone is pretty excited!

Krystee is already a few months preggas, so I made her hike up the mountains to get some photos.  It was cold and it was, in true form, windy! In saying that we had a lot of fun though and some photos to tell a part of the story...

Matt+Sarah || Casual Portraits, LONDON

Matt+Sarah are some good friends of ours that moved to London a few months before us. During our 2 years together, we laughed, consumed some good vino, travelled to distant places and talked philosophy over a good coffee...

This shoot was originally booked to take place in Paris, however it was a little chilly and the weather wasn't crash hot when we were there together for Sarah's birthday, so Matt purchased the dress for Sarah in Paris and we postponed the shoot for a warmer day in London.

We strolled through East London and made our way to London Tower Bridge - where the light was simply epic - then onto another London icon, Buckingham Palace. 

The day was nothing short of a laugh and a good time as you will see by the photos.

Struan+Abi || Casual Portraits, NY

New York, New York. I absolutely love this city! This time around it was my 4th time to the 'Big Apple' catching up with friends and trying to be a local as much as possible. It was our 1st stop after officially leaving London - the city that stole our hearts, provided some life long friends and gave us itchier feet than ever...not literally. The travel bug only gets bigger once you start.

It was the beginning of our epic 4 week tour of the US, but also a bit of a reunion of friends where Struan+Abi were coming along for the adventure and making it a trip that we'll certainly remember.

Struan secretly asked me if we could tee up a surprise shoot whilst we were in NY. I was super stoked, not only because it was NY, but in 2011 I was blessed to shoot their wedding in London and had such a great time!

So, here's to Struan+Abi. We love you guys and miss hanging in London. You provided so many great memories for us to hold onto. Looking forward to creating many more in the future.
