Finally getting through some of the editing from our road trip across the US. Over 3 weeks we travelled from Chicago to LA via New Orleans on the famous Route 66 - 5438 miles and witnessed some of the most eye opening sights America has to offer. To visit Monument Valley has been a childhood dream. To see it in real life with my own eyes simply blew me away. Never did I think that a bunch of big rocks and baron desert be as beautiful as it was in real life.

New Years in Berlin
They do new years celebrations a little differently in Berlin. This firework was shot from our neighbours window and continued all night.
Another Union Jack to add to the list...
This post comes with some very exciting news... We're moving to London! Ok, now that you all know what the news is here is the story...
Before Shelley and I met, Shelley was about to get on a plane and move to London to continue her study in Ancient History and travel. Well all know that London is riddled with history so it makes sense to study in a place with lots of it, especially when you are passionate about the ancient stuff. Well, along came Romeo (me) and spoilt all her plans. Shelley became love struck and put her dream on hold for the meantime in the hope that Romeo (still me) would one day ask her to marry him and they could travel the world together. January 2009 gave us the opportunity to travel to London as part of a young adults conference and well... I too fell in love with London. I turned to Shelley and said "my lady that doth dazzle me with those eyes of emeralds, someday we will embark on a journey that leadeth us back to this place and we shall endeavor to discover the world with endless adventures!" It went something like that. I cannot remember it word for word but you get the gist.
As it turns out, I did ask Shelley to marry me and in July 2009 we were wed!
With Shelley still studying we decided to knuckle down and finish what we had started here in Australia. I completed a diploma in Photography and Shelley has 4 weeks left of her Diploma of Education, so it's now or never! We chose the now...
On the 5th of February 2012 we farewell Australia and hope that London welcomes us with arms wide open (insert Creed song here). With 1 night in Dubai along the way we arrive in London on the 7th February 2012 where Shelley will be teaching English and Ancient History in high schools and I will be pursuing photography fulltime... So if your getting married after the 7th of February and you live in Europe, I'm taking bookings now! I'm also still taking bookings for Australia and the rest of the universe, so don't be shy... Send me an email!
I am currently working on a UK website which will be launching in the coming weeks so stay tuned for more updates to come.
So here we leave you with a photo of Shelley and I in Cambridge, London from our last trip in July...
