New York Pt1 - Connecticut

This month is a pretty exciting month being abroad in New York and then heading onto London over 3 weeks for a couple of weddings in both countries.  The 1st wedding I was in the bridal party for one of my best mates which was held in Connecticut. It was good times all around with a great location and great people.

I'm trying to work through all the snaps I have taken to keep the blog rolling so keep your eye out as there is plenty more to come! Stay tuned!

Sailing on Pittwater

This post is a tribute to some great quality people and amazing friends... Brad, Claire and Nash Heydon. Our friendship originated when Brad joined the band I was a member of back in 2006.  Since the band went our separate ways we remained good friends and my respect for them has only grown the more I have come to know them.  The latest edition, little Nash, is a little ladies man and great fun to have around.

Today we went sailing out on Pittwater as one of our last times to hang out before they move to the US indefinitely.  It just so happens that we will be on the same plane to LA with them as we head to NY for a wedding - not planned at all!

So here is to Brad, Claire and Nash.

To a life of happiness and seeing dreams fulfilled.  May the good times roll and lets hope it's not too long before we can hang again...

Autumn in the Mountains

The Blue Mountains put on a spectacular display with Autumn in full bloom.  The journey took us through to a sleepy little cafe in Megalong Valley... No seriously, that's what it is really called... Then up to Mt Tomah botanical gardens...

CHAD+LIZ

On Saturday 12th March 2011, high school sweet hearts, Chad and Liz tied the knot next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge at Dawes Point Reserve followed by a lunch time reception on a Captain Cook Cruise.

It was a stella day with great weather and amazing people! It was, as always, a real honour to shoot this wedding for such an amazing young couple!

JAY+ANGEL

For the many people who know Jay+Angel they will know part of the journey they both had to walk through to make this amazing day happen.  With the rain bucketing down in the morning and not showing signs of slowing up it was certainly another thing to add to the list, but just before the bride stepped out to the car to make her way to the ceremony the rain stopped, the clouds parted and we were blessed with great weather for the remainder of the day!

The ceremony was held outside at Davidson Park, Roseville and the ceremony held at a private residential address in Elanora.

To Jay+Angel - You both are superstars and have the greatest future ahead of you.  Your story will be told many many times and impact many many people!  It was an absolute honour to shoot your wedding!
